Managing aggressive behaviour and armed robbery at the workplace in the 21st Century The aim of this training is to address difficult situations that employees might encounter during the course of their duties. This may be particularly useful to front office staff, claims handlers, cash-handlers as well as managers of any establishment that provides a service to clients and customers or handles cash and / or valuables. Clients who for some reason feel disgruntled may become aggressive and difficult to handle without proper training. Sensitive situations are sometimes escalated by the employees themselves because they lack training. In an armed-robbery scenario the consequence might range from reputation loss, wilful damage, injury and even death. The programme is aimed at providing trainees with the necessary tools and knowledge required to: provide a professional level of customer-care manage aggressive behaviour with reputational risk and personal safety in mind handle extreme situations such as armed-robbery in a manner that is proven to reduce or remove the risk of damage and/or injury and/or death to employees, and third parties who might be present during the incident Training is delivered in Power Point and content may be customised to address specific issues raised by the client.
