This is done by transferring all Inspectra’s laboratory and equipment to the client’s off-shore installation in a DNV2.7-1:2006 certified container, which has been set up as a fully air-conditioned office. All of Inspectra’s laboratory personnel have attended basic offshore survival induction and emergency training (BOSIET).

Imperial Manufacturing was established 20 years ago by the present managing director Mr Walter Vigar, who started his business armed solely with a simple vacuum formed machine. At the time, only one item was being manufactured in a one-car garage but very soon the company was making all Air Malta in-flight catering packaging after winning a tender! This marked the beginning of a road to success for the company, which expanded steadily by investing in new machinery and bigger premises, currently in Marsa. Encouraged by a higher demand and a fast-growing reputation, more machines were purchased. Nowadays, many established companies in Malta have their plastic packaging manufactured by Imperial Manufacturing, including Playmobil and Methode Malta, for whom we provide antistatic trays and other products, which they use to export electronic parts for Ferrari and Lamborghini. Other well-known names we cater for include Carlo Gavazzi, Magro Bros, Rimus Riley, Busy Bee, Caffe Cordina, Golden Harvest and Stainless Steel. Another investment that was in the pipeline for many years was that of manufacturing our own HIPS material in all colours. This material is manufactured in-house and a large percentage of it is recycled. Imperial Manufacturing believes in contributing towards a cleaner environment. PVC and APET are also used and are sold for recycling! Our professional and highly trained employees do all tooling in-house, and we always produce a prototype sample to ensure client satisfaction before a full tooling is produced, including the cutters. Throughout these years hundreds of items have been manufactured by Imperial Manufacturing Ltd: from small containers for biscuits to large trays for electronics parts; from plastic packaging for toys to insert trays for perfumes and chocolates; from antistatic trays for Ferrari parts to Jelly pot trays for Sainbury’s in England! Di Rocco Trading Ltd was setup in April 2014 to strengthen and consolidate further the hard work and achievements from the company Di Rocco Ltd, formerly known as Seal Cold. The history goes back to 1990 where Rocco and Lucia Camilleri with a sole trader setup, Seal Cold, started to import implements for cold stores, strip curtains and accessories.
