The Educational Programme in Kindergarten 1 and 2 comprises a series of structured activities aimed at contributing to a child’s development along a number of dimensions – physical, cognitive, linguistic, social and emotional.
The primary aim in Kindergarten 1 is to help the child become independent and self-reliant. Learning takes place through narratives as while children are listening to a story and engaging with it they are also attaining different developmental objectives.
Kindergarten 2, incorporates an integrated approach through narratives of the following subjects: English, Maltese, Maths, I.T., Science, Religion, Drama, Art, Music, Gymnastics, Physical Education, and Humanities. Students start their journey towards the acquisition of literacy skills and form a solid mathematical foundation using the Stern method.
