Rewind to 1995 & the local culinary offering was mostly limited to continental, Chinese and traditional fish restaurants. So, when Tex Mex arrived on the local scene, it introduced Malta to the restaurant-lounge club scene endorsing American cuisine with a twist of Mexican flavours and in certain cases adjusted to the Mediterranean palate. The brainchild of Marco Muscat, Tex Mex has become a household name. A landmark on Tower Road, Sliema from 1995 till the end of 2011, after which Tex Mex relocated its iconic presence to the Strand in Sliema. However our time in Sliema came to an end and our Sliema establishment has been replaced with our latest establishment in the heart of St. Julians, Malta’s entertainment and dining central, being Tex Mex Paceville.
