Balzan Football Club is a football club from the small village of Balzan,located in central Malta. The club was founded in 1937. Until a few years ago the club spent most of its history playing in the lower divisions of Maltese football.

The club has now managed to qualify for the UEFA Europa League for the last five seasons in a row by finishing in the top 4 in the Premier League in Malta and by winning the FA Trophy in season 18/19 on penalties in a dramatic Final vs Valletta after the game had finished 4-4 after extra time. The club had also finished as runners up in the Premier League in seasons 16/17 and 17/18 and got to the FA Trophy Final in the 15/16 season only to lose on penalties to Sliema in a lack lustre Final which finished 0-0 after extra time.

The club has now become known in Malta as the club from the small village with the BIG HEART !
