The new jewellery collection Crystal Ground by Preciosa drew inspiration among the fruits of the earth and nature itself, or rather its irregularity and rawness, which are the typical qualities of the natural world and which make it inimitable. The place of prominence among our new designs belongs to so-called special stones which are manually pressed in Preciosa, using a traditional technology from the 18th century. Therefore, every crystal stone is an original. Some of them are enriched with 24K gold. The range of colors is dominated by gold in combination with earthy and sunny shades. The collection also features Venetian beads which bring together a harmonious marriage of Bohemian crystal and 24K gold. As a result every hand-made Venetian bead has a distinct structure. Another particular structure can be found in a jewelry collection with beads with cracked effect. Our glassmakers manufacture them by means of a special technique during which cracks are created inside the beads during a refining process.
