San Luigi child care centre is a family run business.Being a mother myself, we know how difficult it can be to be in employment and making sure that your children are being well taken care of at the same time.Our centre is furnished with high quality and EU standard child care equipment, and we adhere to all the health and safety requirements, regular checks by a number of different engineers are held throughout the year to ensure the children`s safety. You shouldn't have to worry about the safety of your child, as we make it our highest priority. Our secure building contains cameras in every room. All our staff members are certified within the sector, in pediatric first aid and food handling. All parents know how important it is for every child to express their own interests, we believe that this can build the child`s individual character, therefor to follow these interests we believe in the Reggio Emilia Approach, our carers are highly trained in such Approach. Within this Approach the children are put as priority and them, together with their carers built up projects using a process. We encourage art within the children together with other skills that are achieved through the activities. We believe in such approach as this will encourage the little ones to build up their own character and encourage them to be independent at an early stage in life. We also believe that physical activities are an asset to the children`s development therefor we are equipped with large outdoor space in all our centres, due to this we allow the children to move freely from their earliest by not using push chairs and carry cots, within the setting. Our trained staff knows how to keep the children well occupied during the whole day with plenty of exciting and different activities, and we restrict the use of digital equipment such as TV and Computers.
