info@tamarija.comA cultural attraction in itself. Awarded the The Best Maltese Food Restaurant for 10 years with the celebration of Maltese food, wine & culture at its heart.
Keep an eye out for the themed nights ... Ta’ Marija Folklore dinner shows are held every Wednesday (April to November) and Friday (all year) evening. They start at 8pm with charismatic strolling mandolins and guitars (very sweet especially when clients sing along with them). At around 9.30pm the folklore show is held featuring six dancers in traditional eighteenth century costumes, who will lure you into a jovial story of Maltese history told through dance. The charming Marija herself will present the show in a variety of languages, always courteously asking for the different nationalities in the house, so that she may translate accordingly. Our dance-floor also elevates to enable you to watch the show comfortably from your dining table. After the show, and apres-dinner, Ta’ Marija’s dance-floor will light up, with soft or popular music according to the mood, to make your own history of a truly unforgettable evening.
On Saturday dinners and Sunday lunches your may choose from our sumptuous A La Carte menu or our delicious Carvery Buffet. On most Saturday evenings Corazon, a popular and talented local singer, also performs and creates a lively atmosphere for all to enjoy.
