Millions of Facebook and Instagram users logged out at Once as Facebook goes down!

Get this - Down Detector has logged over 504,000 reports about these Facebook login issues, and that's just in a 24-minute window. It's blowing up, for real."

 

Is it a conspiracy?

Social media comentators on twitter have already started adding their 2 cents onto what has is happening  with one US Twitter user noticing how this just happened to occur on Super Tuesday, a major day in the US political primaries.

 

Others are noting how it perfectly co-incides with the new All time High for Bitcoin - which incidentally soared past $69,000 usd this afternoon


 

Service back to normal according to Meta

“Earlier today, a technical issue caused people to have difficulty accessing some of our services,” Stone said on X. “We resolved the issue as quickly as possible for everyone who was impacted, and we apologize for any inconvenience.”

In a report to CNN, referencing Tuesday’s Super Tuesday primary elections, a spoksperson for the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency stated

“We are aware of availability issues affecting certain services provided by Meta. At this time we are not aware of specific malicious cyber activity or any specific nexus to today’s elections,”
