Pet-Friendly Fun at Malta Trade Fair

3 July, 2024 | Alex Teoli

Among the highlights of this year’s Malta Trade Fair was undoubtedly the K9 Display Unit who showcased their incredible training skills and captivated audiences with their adorable charm.

As part of the Malta Correctional Services Agency, these dogs were carefully selected and trained from an early age. As such, each dog shares a special bond with their trainer.

Visitors to the Malta Trade Fair had the chance to marvel at the extraordinary abilities of the K9 unit. Under the command of their skilled and friendly trainers, these canines performed a series of demonstrations that highlighted their agility, obedience, and specialized training techniques.

Attendees were also able to ask questions and have a friendly chat with the trainers, thus gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the essential roles these units play in ensuring safety and security within correctional facilities and beyond. They were able to chat to the trainers to learn more.

Four Legged Companions

Although the K9 unit was only present at the start of the Trade Fair, attendees can still enjoy the wide array of exhibitors and activities throughout the event. Plus, in keeping with tradition, the Malta Trade Fair is a pet friendly event and invites attendees to bring along their four-legged companions.

Pets must be on a lead and under their owner's control at all times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The fair itself boasts over 20,000 square meters of space, including an 11,500sqm outdoor area so there is plenty of space for them to roam.

With over 100 exhibitors, guests can explore a diverse range of products and services, from pet care items to unique local crafts, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone.

So don’t miss out on this pet-friendly celebration and the chance to win several cash prizes at the mFCCC trade fair that ends on Sunday.

The Malta Trade Fair runs daily from 6:30 PM onwards until Sunday, 7th July, offering a perfect evening outing for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to explore a diverse range of exhibits and attractions.
