The island’s crypto scene just got a fresh shot of energy — and it came with pizza.
Last night, the much-anticipated relaunch of Crypto Mondays Malta drew crypto-curious newcomers, seasoned Bitcoin believers, and Web3 builders together for an evening of laughter, learning, and seriously good networking — all set in the buzzing atmosphere of Salumeria Gardens in Spinola Bay.
Timed perfectly with Bitcoin Pizza Day, the event wasn’t just a nod to the past — it was a bold look at where blockchain’s headed next. And yes, the pizza really was that good.
Co-hosted by local legend James Ryder — a comedian who somehow manages to make blockchain hilarious — and Wesley Ellul, the energy was high, the banter flowed, and so did the ideas. From deep dives into the future of DeFi to playful debates about meme coins, it was clear: Malta’s crypto community is ready to build.
And the best part? Whether you arrived with a wallet full of tokens or no idea what a wallet even is, the crowd was open, inclusive, and eager to talk tech (and taste toppings).
Crypto Mondays Malta wouldn’t be possible without the support of some standout Web3 pioneers:
- Alunafi – A Maltese financial institution that blends cutting-edge innovation with personalised support. Trusted by the likes of iGaming and aviation companies, Alunafi’s approach to Open Finance is one to watch. Follow on LinkedIn
- Ryder – Think Apple Pay, but for crypto. Ryder’s sleek hardware wallet, Ryder One, makes sending and receiving crypto as easy as a tap. The future of secure digital payments has officially arrived. Follow on X
- Elantil – For iGaming operators diving into crypto, Elantil’s next-gen modular platform is a game-changer. Multi-wallet. Multi-currency. Maximum flexibility. Follow on LinkedIn

- All Radio Network – Broadcasting Malta’s clearest digital audio over DAB+, this team is redefining radio with a reach that spans music, talk, and crypto chatter. Follow on Instagram
With Malta’s blockchain buzz clearly back, Crypto Mondays Malta promises to be a regular feature once again — giving the island’s fast-growing crypto and Web3 community a space to gather, connect, and maybe even spark the next big thing.
So whether you're here for the tech, the tokens, or just the toppings — keep your Mondays free. Crypto’s back on the menu.
